До питання про назву «науки про державу»: проблеми та перспективи ідентифікації // Соціологія права. 2022. – № 3-4. – С. 26-30.UK: Події, що відбуваються сьогодні у світі, зумовлюють гостру необхідність у науковому переосмисленні місця та ролі держави у сучасному суспільстві. Утім треба зазначити, що досі немає комплексного підходу до вивчення цього важливого соціального інституту в межах окремої, самостійної науки про державу. В статті розкриваються концептуальні засади утворення нової науки про державу і на основі історичного та логіко-семантичного аналізу обґрунтовується її назва. Визначено, що історично наука про державу бере свій початок з Німеччини ХVII-ХVIІІ століть, коли вона спочатку називалася «Staatswissenschaft» (наука про державу; Герман Конрінг – 1606–1681 рр.), потім «Staatswissenschaft» і «Statistika» (Готфрід Ахенваль – 1719–1772 рр.), а в ХІХ ст. – «Статистика», яка, втративши свій соціально-політичний зміст, перетворилася на спеціальну науку, пов’язану зі складанням чисельних описів соціального життя людей та наукової обробки одержаних кількісних даних. З кінця ХІХ ст. «наука про державу» втрачає свою назву, оскільки її окремі блоки знань стали складовими інших наук (юриспруденції, політології тощо). Така ситуація зберігалась до кінця ХХ ст. – часів розпаду СРСР, коли на постсоціалістичному просторі розпочалася робота по відродженню науки про державу. Для позначення нової науки пропонувалися різні назви, але з них найбільшої підтримки і поширення отримали «Державоведіння» (Государствоведение – Росія») та «Державознавство» (Україна). На основі всебічного логіко-семантичного аналізу обґрунтовано, що з цих двох назв для позначення науки про державу чіткішим є назва «Державознавство», яка вказує на певну сукупність «знань про державу», та є зрозумілим для науковців певної групи слов’янських країн. Водночас автор вважає, що у сучасному глобалізованому світі для позначення науки про державу необхідна інша назва і пропонує для цього термін «Статологія» («stato»+logos; держава+наука). Перевага запропонованого терміну полягає в тому, що він, будучи ширшим як за змістом, так і мовною ознакою, сприятиме виходу державознавчої науки за вузькі межі певної групи слов’янських країн та поширюватиметься в наукових колах на усіх континентах. EN: The events taking place in the world today lead to an urgent necessity for a scientific reinterpretation of the place and role of the state in modern society. However, it should be noted that there is still no comprehensive approach to the study of this important social institution within the framework of a separate, independent science of the state. This article reveals the conceptual foundations of the formation of a new science of the state and substantiates its name on the basis of historical and logical-semantic analysis. It is determined that historically the science of the state has its origins in Germany of the 17th and 18th centuries, when it was initially called “Staatswissenschaft” (Science of the State) by Hermann Conring (1606–1681), then “Staatswissenschaft” and “Statistika” by Gottfried Achenwall (1719–1772), and in the 19th century − “Statistics”, which, after having lost its socio-political content, turned into a special science, related to the compilation of numerical descriptions of people’s social life and the scientific processing of the obtained quantitative data. From the end of the 19th century the “Science of the State” lost its name, since its separate blocks of knowledge have become the components of other sciences such as jurisprudence, political science, etc. This situation persisted until the end of the 20th century − the times of the collapse of the USSR, when work on the revival of the science of the state began in the post-socialist countries. Different names were suggested to denote a new science, but of them, “Derzhavovedennya” (Gosudarstvovedeniye – Russia) and “Derzhavoznavstvo” (Ukraine) received the most support and promotion. On the basis of a comprehensive logical-semantic analysis, it is substantiated that of these two names denoting the science of the state, the name ”Derzhavoznavstvo” is clearer, because it indicates a certain set of “knowledge about the state”, besides it is easily understood for scientists of a certain group of Slavic countries. At the same time, the author believes that in today’s globalized world there should be another name to denote the science of the state, and he proposes the term “Statology” (“stato” + logos; state +science).
