A. Prediction of Stress-Associated States in University Students Based on Physical Activity Data Using Machine Learning Methods. Theory and Methods of Physical Education. 2024. Vol. 24, No. 2. P. 245-253. DOI: 10.17309/tmfv.2024.2.08EN: Objectives. The aim of the study was to determine the influence of physical activity on stress-associated states in students of higher education institutions. Materials and methods. The dataset for model construction consisted of 1115 observations, 16 independent and 3 dependent variables. The random forest method was used as the main method. Results. Physical activity was found to be the most important factor for predicting stress-associated states in students. 'Stress', 'Increased Anxiety' and 'PTSD Risk' models were constructed. The 'Stress' model had the highest quality: accuracy — 0.77, recall — 0.86, precision — 0.79, F1-score — 0.82. Conclusions. The implementation of the developed models allows rapid identification of stress-associated states in students and the application of necessary measures using physical activity. Prediction of Stress-Associated States in University Students Based on Physical Activity Data Using Machine Learning MethodsПрогнозування стрес-асоційованих станів у студентів університету на основі даних про рухову активність із застосуванням методів машинного навчанняArticle
