Культурологічний аспект дослідження образу України в англомовних перекладах української лірики

Abstract

UK: У статті розглядається питання відтворення образу України в англомовних перекладах української лірики з позицій культкрологічної парадигми перекладознавства. У контексті цього дослідження образ є художньою формою об' єктивації його однойменного концепту і включає поняттєвий, ціннісний і образний складники. Зосереджено увагу на визначенні поняттєвого і йціннісного складників културного концепту та здійснено зіставлення ціннісних домінант української та англомовної культур. EN: The article deals with the issue of reproducing the image of Ukraine in English translations of Ukrainian lyrics from the standpoint of the cultural studies paradigm of translation studies. In the context of this study, the image is an artistic form of objectification of its eponymous concept and includes conceptual, value and figurative components. The article focuses on the definition of the conceptual and value components of the cultural concept and compares the value dominants of Ukrainian and English-speaking cultures.
