Abstract
UK: Проаналізовано підходи до трактування понять «іншомовна компетенція», «іншомовна комунікативна компетенція», «професійне іншомовне спілкування». Досліджено взаємозв'язок між загальною комунікативною компетентністю випускника університету та професійною іншомовною компетентністю. Проаналізовано компоненти іншомовної комунікативної компетенції студентів інженерних спеціальностей.
EN: Аpproaches towards interpreting the notions of “foreign language competence”, “foreign language communicative competence”, and “professional foreign language communication” are analyzed. The interrelation between the university graduate's general communicative competence and professional foreign language competence is scrutinized. The components of foreign language communicative competence of engineering students are analyzed.
