Abstract

UK: The article examines the cultural specificity of English and French phraseological units expressing praise and criticism in the workplace context. EN: Using contrastive, definitional, and descriptive methods, the study identifies both shared and distinct features of these units, revealing cultural differences in attitudes toward work, manager–subordinate relationships, employee competence, and enthusiasm.
