EN: The article presents a comparative analysis of the thermal coefficient of linear expansion (CTE) for KNA-82 alloy sealing coatings with varying yttrium content (0.1%, 0.3%, 0.5%) applied by gas-flame and ion-plasma methods. Dilatometric studies in the 20-950°C range revealed that the ion-plasma coating with 0.3% yttrium exhibits optimal thermal expansion characteristics, with stable CTE values ranging from 5.7×10⁻⁶ K⁻¹ at 100°C to 14.49×10⁻⁶ K⁻¹ at 800-900°C, without sharp fluctuations. Regression analysis confirmed this composition's superior predictive power, while equivalent gas-flame coatings exhibited thermal instability above 800°C. The results indicate that ion-plasma coatings with 0.3% yttrium provide the best thermomechanical compatibility with superalloy substrates under the cyclic thermal conditions typical of gas turbine engine operation, making them most suitable for high-temperature abradable sealing applications.
