University-Led Citizen Science Projects for Environmental Monitoring and Integrated Urban Development

Abstract

UK: У статті наведено рекомендації для університетів та координаторів громадянської науки в сфері моніторингу довкілля та міського розвитку. Акцент робиться на мотиваційних аспектах участі громадськості в проектах громадянської науки та на стратегіях ефективного управління цими проектами. Зроблено висновок, що комплексний підхід, який включає цифрові технології, гейміфікацію та стратегічні комунікації, може значно підвищити ефективність проектів громадянської науки, залучити більшу кількість учасників та сприяти досягненню сталих результатів. EN: The paper provides recommendations for universities and citizen science coordinators in the field of environmental monitoring and urban development. The emphasis is placed on the motivational aspects of public participation in citizen science projects and on strategies for effective management of these projects. It is concluded that a comprehensive approach, incorporating digital technologies, gamification, and strategic communication, can significantly increase the effectiveness of citizen science projects, attract a larger number of participants, and contribute to achieving sustainable results.
